And God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; and the stars.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Enter a world of unlimited Imagination
The most important detail in producing something from nothing is in setting up the atmosphere where miracles are not only possible but are the absolute likely outcome in every situation. This requires an operation of higher mind which both lets go and and lets through the necessary dynamics for these transformations. The pattern flows therefore need to be adjusted accordingly. As the energy is released it is then transmitted along the lines of creation similar to the thought forms that coalesced in the beginning to bring about the world as we know it today. This is the sphere of influence mind needs to operate from. It is halfway into the dreamstate that these idealized forms are actualized. In a sense we are continually awakening, choosing the world we live in. In the morning we appear to awaken and not go to sleep for the rest of the day until evening. However this in itself is the illusion that we live under. If you knew that each moment has the lucidity of every other moment then you could work within this understanding to change your reality moment by moment. Indeed this is true and therefore the changes are now taking place. You look around and nothing is happening but ah yes it is. It isn’t the outer that reflects your changing consciousness immediately but your inner dimensions rearrange themselves to be the ideagrams of your impending thought forms actualizing in the world of form.
Now in producing the image and likeness of we take that which was in the beginning created, the earth and which then makes or puts forth grass. This is a further issuing of the saying and making. Again from the grass, Seed, a further issuing forth or making. From the seed the Fruit tree, from the Fruit tree, fruit which then produces seed that returns to the earth to complete the cycle. Everything is self producing generating after its own kind operating from the initial impulse “In the beginning God created……..” This sets the tone for all that comes after.
First there is the issuing forth and then the demonstration of this issuing forth. This that was good is inherent in the way these operations take place. A natural order is being described. Within this natural order everything that is one is so by the mediation of one. There is not one thing that does not come about from this one.
Spirit Winds are those forces that are stirred up as a result of the constant mining of these thought forms here. They rise in coherency as the unification of thought occurs. Their direction is determined by the particular energy field that is attached to these mind flows as they are issuing forth and going out into the world. In a sense these spirit winds are the calling back of these thoughts as witnesses to form.
“And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day”
The distinction between that which we are bringing forth and that which remains hidden is organized. Further we are told that evening and morning make up a unit called one day. Afternoon seems to be missing but really this is about the light and the darkness. The way this is phrased, both evening and morning are part of one day which previously, day has been defined as the name God gives to light. This can be confusing except when we analyze it under the lens of cognitive perception. Revelations that come to us are as the day to our consciousness. The unknown areas out of which these revelations come are as the night. All together however both day and night represent one day, or rather everything that comes to us from everything that it comes from are all unified on this one day. The cycle is from evening to morning. Out of the darkness comes the understandings we are searching for, the demonstrations of our light awareness taking shape first as thought and then as the process comingles the unity of the understanding and the representation of the understanding. It is then the image, and then the likeness that is then presented. This is after all the beginning of time.
“And God said: ‘Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.’
We are talking major separation here in preparation for the thoughts to come into form. The firmament is the semi permeable barrier between the thoughts that are brought into being and those thoughts that remain unrealized. The firmament can be said to be an active transformer of these waters providing an ongoing interface for the realization of thought into form. This division facilitates the process of separating the subtle from the gross.
Remember heaven and earth were already created. The firmament is usually thought to be the stars and planets-constellations, the physical counterparts providing the interface. The whole vastness of space are the waters above and also alludes to the darkness heretofore spoken of. The complete unknown is its realm so that it suggests something more than the space as we The unrealized thoughts. The quanta of the unverse. Something else is going on out there so incredible that we cannot even begin to describe. Still the possiblity and recognition of that possibility are enough to allow it into our sphere of encompassment. The waters below the firmament are thoughts which already been brought forth unified now by their very nature into regions of coherency and compatibility. Time and its outworkings are very much in evidence here.
It is to be understood that we are repeating a process. God created the Heaven remember in the beginning. When God names something then we are to think that this is the image and likeness of and not the original. Firmament is the image and likeness of heaven but acts in a manner unto itself. It’s properties are still those of transformative influence but it is for another level or purpose that this occurs here on this second day. This purpose is the concept of reflection where thoughts take on their creator like qualities in response to the one will.
Let our thoughts be gathered together in unity with the central idea being filtered or transformed by the firmament so that the appearance of form should arise. This is the perhaps the most critical step in the process of thoughts taking form. The agency of the firmament allows the transfer to take place from the realization of thoughts into representative form. Again it is the image of likeness of the heavens that is taking place here. All of this is being constantly directed. When God says and it is so is telling us that yes the image and likeness of the these heavens are now formed into the dry land.
By calling the dry land Earth we are reminded that Earth already was created. This calling is the representative of that creation in the midst of the unity of thought, or the gathering together of the waters called the Seas. Of course it was Good. The intention has been fully realized. It is the bringing forth of the Light that was Good into now these images and likenesses of the Light that was Good, mirrored now by this Dry Land and Sea formed by the gathering of the waters which also is good. The definition here is that the entire process works as a unity. From the unity of thought, raised by spirit comes the reflection of spirit defined through the filter of the firmament which is simply the universal constant without which nothing could be carried forth. This interface is there for all time and is in fact the beginning of time.
Allow certainty to enter inside the center of your expression. This in turn creates an attitude of expectancy. Certainty then could be said to appear as grace from above in response to our highest understanding of this concept. As beings who are in the image of our creator we can always work in concert with our creator in terms of unity. It is our intention to lift ourselves up, to surround ourselves with positive ideas, to not react to negative situations. In return there is the act of grace which flows from the creator in response to our actions here below. Constant effort on our part to lift ourselves results in constant grace which flows from the creator. The effort is to free oneself from the waters below in terms of the ego’s dominion there. We are talking about thoughts-ideas that are floating around that either ensnare us or set us free. The trick is in the distinction or discrimination between the two. However once you start making progress and begin to experience the feelings of being set free. It is then that you become both blessing and blessed. Openings appear all around you where heretofore there were none. Doors open. Opportunities appear. Your life changes. Some are frightened by these changes where there appears to be chaos in their lives but really what is happening is that you are looking into the deepest parts of yourself and finally beginning to make sense of things. You realize that the apparent chaos is simply your growing awareness which is no longer stupified by the status quo. You now look to the heights for each coming moment expectantly awaiting the grace that is now sure to come.
Practice rising up within your own thinking. Travel the pathways that are the switchbacks along the mountainous regions of your mind. Around each bend listen for the answers. They always come when they are expected. Time does not matter for any answer. Thoughts turn into visions of even greater complexity and then the vision becomes imbued with the reality of demonstration. In these demonstrations your thought forms become alive. You begin to notice situations that are representations of a seed thought that you remember from a time before. In these instances there is the recognition of the outpouring of thought.
It all does therefore go back to the beginning and in the analysis of the living document of the Torah no clearer representation of these moments of initiation can be presented.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
The thoughts that issue forth from the beginning have for time immemorial their established places. The heavens where thoughts are always coming forth, rising up, symbolized as stars, eternity in the constant ray of light. Then the earth where thought turns into form, or lingers as in:
“Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. ”
Of course the earth was unformed. Thought had just come into being. It could not coalesce into form. All that existed was the possibility for formation. No ideas which are strings of thought were around. All there is remains a vastness with no illumination, nothing to take away from, nor nothing to add to it. In the midst of this we are told that it is the Ruach(Spirit) Elohim(God) that hovers over the waters.
Where did the waters come from? It isn’t “in the beginning HaShem created the heavens, earth and waters.” The waters are just there all around by the very nature of being. What are these waters, HaMayim? What is it that needs no bringing forth and is always there? It is that in which Elohim moves and has its being in. Consider the unity of water. Pour one glass into another and they mix without changing the nature of the water. A drop or an ocean, it is still water. Go beyond now to the source of this substance from which all life depends upon. It is this unity in fact which is life. Further into this there is the spirit of Elohim. The spirit of Elohim is the essence of Elohim. The spirit of a thing is its highest most indicative quality. As in the spirit of Christmas is “Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all mankind.” The spirit of Kabbalah & Christianity is “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Here we take a concept that creates a substance (Elohim creates heaven and earth) and then raise this concept to its highest component or its spirit. This highest component of all being, the spirit of (male-female) Elohim waits expectantly or hovers over the waters. The waters are the infinite possibilities of the mind-stuff. The face of the waters is the appearance of the waters. It is what they reveal to Elohim continually. It is out of this appearance that Elohim brings forth what is next. It is the image therefore of the waters. It is a seeing into the depths of the waters to find the visions which will now be brought forth into the light. There the spirit of Elohim remains expectant because having seen the vision it follows that realization of these visions must come forth as in:
“And God said: ‘Let there be light.’ And there was light. ”
What happens? First VaYaR Elohim, “And Elohim said.” Nothing is made until it is made and then it is spoken. Out of these waters comes an interesting juktaposition in terms of space time. Why not just say : “Here is light”, or “Light.” Why “Let there be.” Let there be is both a prayer and a request. Elohim can only create out of mind stuff that Elohim is hovering over. This mind stuff in fact is asked to become light. It is the one thing out of all things that had to be in place before anything else could take place. Immediately then there “was light.” This light is the understanding of how all of this works. Now the piece de resistance. “And there was Light.”
Light comes forth as being preexistent. There always is light. What Elohim calls forth is simply the expression of that light in the context of bringing forth everything that is to be which by the way already is existing, but remains to be expressed by calling it forth. through the light.
“And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. ”
Here is the beginning of the discrimination talked of above. The concept of good and the removal of the light from the darkness. I think it is saying here that we are to recognize always the distinction between what is good and has been brought into being and what remains in the unformed state-darkness. Remember It is out of this unformed state that the light is initially brought forth from. Another way to look at this is to say that what was to be is represented by the light and that it is good. The darkness is not chosen because by definition only when the unknown becomes the known can there be any light brought forth. What is happening here is the very transformation or ongoing transubstantiation of the darkness into light. Since we know that creation is ongoing and that time is not, then even in these moments here and here are we witness to these very events taking place moment by moment. The lesson in this is that in each moment these very same operations take place within our own minds mirrored in the image of our creator we can operate no less than that we were are given as a template for creation. It is the secret and mystery of this which brings about the Torah readings from year to year in endless discovery, just as in the beginning, “Elohim saw the light that it was good.”

All of the work you do is on yourself. Every action you take even in the service to others expands your idea of who you are. You are being taught to think and be from your own center of awareness. As you continue in this way your perspective gradually changes. You learn to rely more on your own internal sense of being rather than viewing-judging outward appearances. Every time you refrain from this reaction-judging-in terms of negativity of the person outside of you and reinforce the idea of internal peace calm, good will towards all, then you are making an example of yourself for you to remember. Thought is the spiritual food of our awareness. We discover right thinking through persistent letting go of negativity which opens the vessel, and a pouring in from the creator sources which is our way of objectifying this pouring in. When we choose good thoughts, philosophies, words to meditate upon, we are then strengthening our connection to this source of all creation. You don’t have to change the person or situation outside of you, you need only effect the changes for good within yourself. It isn’t their negativity that is our concern but rather our own attention to our inner good which transcends every negativity. It is always choice. What do we set our minds attention upon? It is the perfection of perception that we are seeking. [Turn away from evil. Get thee behind me. Look not into the pools of darkness.] Yes we see evil or the need for correction in situations and others past and present, still that is not to be our focus. Again we cannot change these situations, we can only change our way of thinking about them. Do not take them to heart or as a source for meditation. The only question you need ever ask is: Who am I and how can I become better? In this way your life becomes self directed. Using this self direction to bring forth every good thing in your life enriches all of us.
Only the Ego does battle. Only does the Ego feel attacked. Kabbalah is to receive, not for the self alone but to share. The Ego wants the attention directed on itself. It’s like that joke. “Enough about me, so let’s talk about me.” The Ego tries to hold on to the status quo. Of course everything changes. Count on this and see the wonder of it all.
In timeless beauty wisdom knows

Love always there in everything,
Certain winter contains the spring.

Rising up the angels share it all
Include each of us within their call.
This world and all its shadow play
Turns round and changes day to day.

Some great quotes by Park Quimby 1802-1866, the founder of New Thought
Park Quimby wrote in
Instead of your happiness being in the world, the
world’s happiness is in you. Here is your true position, and
this is the struggle you will have to go through. Shall the
world lead you, or shall you lead the world? This is the
point that is to be settled in your mind.
Betrand Russell wrote:
The happy man is the man whose personality is neither divided against itself nor pitted against the world. Such a man feels himself a citizen of the universe, enjoying freely the spectacle that it offers and the joys that it affords, untroubled by the thought of death because he feels himself not really separate from those who will come after him.
Quimby writes:
“You cannot go into the clouds to call it down, nor into
the sea to call it up, but it is in you, in your very thoughts.
It is not of this world, but of a higher state, that can pene-
trate this earthly matter as light through darkness.
Now Jesus cured the sick and said if they understood
Him they might do the same. We want a theory like that
of Jesus not of talk but of works, for a theory that cannot
be put into practice is worthless.
All Science is a part of God.
If Science rules,
life and happiness are the reward.
Science is Wisdom put into practice.
The scientific method can teach us nothing else beyond how facts are related to,and conditioned by, each other. The aspiration toward such objective knowledge belongs to the highest of which man is capable. Yet it is equally clear that knowledge of what is does not open the door directly to what should be.
Religion, on the other hand, deals only with evaluations of human thought and action; it cannot justifiably speak of facts and relationships between facts. “
“Science without religion is lame.
Religion without science is blind.”

Awake from your lethargy.
Come to the light of Wisdom.
Man’s happiness is in himself.
Life is eternal, Life is Wisdom.
Wisdom is progression.
Its enemy is ignorance.
Seek Wisdom.
Believe no man’s opinion.
As God is Wisdom,
Wisdom is Science.
The roman emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote his knowledge
of God while leading his troops against tribes on the
northern border of the empire:
“All parts of the universe are interwoven with one
another, and the bond is sacred. Nothing is
unconnected with some other thing. For all
things have been coordinated and combined to
form the same universe. There is one universe
made up of everything, and one God who
pervades everything, and one substance, one law,
one common reason in all intelligent animals,
and one truth.”
A Jesuit Father of the twentieth century, a paleontologist
and geologist, Father Teilhard de Chardin wrote this
while scientific advisor to the Geological Survey of China:
“The doctors of the Church explain that the Lord
deliberately hides himself from us in order to
test our love. One would have to irretrievably
committed to mental gymnastics, one would have
never to have met in one’s own self or in others the
agonies of doubt not to feel the hatefulness of this
solution.
No: God, I am quite certain, does not hide himself so
that we shall have to look for him–any more than he
allows us to suffer in order to increase our merit. “
Quimby again says:
The magicians and sorcerers cured by their belief. They thought their power came from a spirit-world. They believed that disease was sent into the world to torment mankind.
The priests had the same belief. They held up to the people the idea that they must do something different from living honestly and dealing with mankind as though we were one family, that a certain belief was necessary to keep us clear of hell, which itself had been invented to torment man.
This doctrine kept the people in ignorance of themselves and made them nervous, giving rise to belief in evil spirits.
God or Wisdom has never made anything to torment mankind.”
“If you embrace the world
you embrace its errors,
And become a servant to its laws,
The spirit or truth departs
to the God that gave it.
But if you hold on to the Truth
the world is in subjection to you.
And instead of becoming a servant,
you become a teacher of Truth to the world,
To lead other minds to the Truth.”
