What can we do for one another? How can we help those less fortunate. How can we ensure the well being of all to the best of our collective ability. How strange that these questions remain on the sidelines in a land known for its generous spirit and yet now the selfish interests of the few are overshadowing those good intentions.

How is this possible to submerge the most incredible people whose generosity has fueled countless saving graces all over the world? When we think of America we think about our largesse and a nation where the people are really wonderful.

How does this generous spirit get turned into a mean spirit? The answer is simple. Anger. It really doesn’t matter who or what you are angry at. In fact the more vague the anger the better it may be manipulated for the end of masking that American spirit and turning it against the very people who are embracing it making them do things in the name of that anger even to the point of working against their own self interest.

How strange to watch people speak about taking away Social Security, healthcare, and education as if they did not realize that the very ground they were standing on was going to be pulled away. We rely on an economic system that all participate in. Businesses cannot stay where the people are broke, have no jobs, and the government has gone on holiday.

This spirit of anger turns many to fear, to hate, to uncertainty and to closing up their hearts. Those who are angry then must cling to their guns as if any amount of ammunition will protect you from financial ruin no matter how much money you have. When the monetary system breaks down the more you have the more you lose because it becomes worthless.

Money is based upon an agreement. When countries begin to default on those agreements banks are sure to follow and FDIC or no FDIC there goes your money whether it be in banks, stocks, bonds, or property, even gold will become worthless in a world that stops cooperating and seeks to grab for itself at the expense of others.

Let’s face it the money is being siphoned off now in the form of jobs that used to be here but are now farmed out overseas, money that used to be real estate siphoned off by bankers, hedge fund managers, and government officials whose complicity let the rules slack so that thieves could enter the henhouse at will take their booty and hightail it out all the while making payoffs left and right to whomever got in their way.

Corporations too are holding on to record amounts of money that could be spent in the form of jobs, research, expansion and what have you. Why are they holding on to their cash? The answer is simple. Those at the top have figured out that he who controls the money also controls who gets the money meaning themselves. This is why bonuses and raises are also record breaking in a time of high unemployment and tight money.

Yes there is a big problem but it is not with the corporations, the bankers, the government or the people. It is with everyone combined. It is the mindset of I have mine so forget about you. It is the attitude that the end justifies the means especially when that means you get to profit from those ends at the expense of others. Some will say that’s just business or that’s just the way things work. They are wrong because no matter how much you speak of business as soon as it becomes corrupted then it begins to decay, break down, fail. This corruption is also a mindset as if by blocking out those in need we may somehow ignore them or blame them for our guilt.

The answer is a national imperative to return to that spirit of generosity where each of us recognizes that we are indeed there for each other. In such a general awareness of giving those who hold back, are selfish, or are blatantly trying to get over on each other then stand out ostracized from the crowd. They become the exception rather than the rule.

All of this is happening in a country where religion is supposed to be a very strong force and yet taken from the Torah which both Christians and Jews alike ascribe to is the idea of doing what is right. Everyone knows the right thing to do but then because of the anger that is sown they choose to do something else entirely. It is like in the generations of Noach when the people were corrupt and they corrupted the land. Noach was the only righteous man. Here in America however there are many who continue to do what is right and the spirit of generosity rests upon them.

Those who have taken the bit of anger into their hearts have a bitter pill to swallow since there is no assuaging that anger no matter how it is directed or projected on others. The fact remains that anger once indulged in cannot be placed in the form of hate upon another since in doing so the anger is then replaced by guilt which eats away at the soul until it becomes shallow and coarse.

Anger begins with blaming others, speaking ill of others and doing harm to others. This is a classic projection of anger but the news is that it doesn’t work. The more you project, the more you blame, the more you harm others with your words the stronger that anger digs its roots into you. The irony with anger is that it is fueled by repression, something you did not say, or a relationship that isn’t all you expect it to be, or life’s disappointments that ask you to own up to yourself instead of projecting your fears and hatred upon others.

Once again the answer is to let go of that anger so that a common sense approach may take hold. Find ways to work together for the good of the people. The people come first. Everything else that exists to serve the people comes second.

Those who are wealthy need to come together in a millionaires club to seek ways to promote the common good not just with charitable donations but with a spirit of generosity that extends to actually caring about this country and its people.

As one people we need to resist the anger that politicians stoke their fires with in order to win our votes. Tell us how you can help the people first, put this country back into a spirit of generosity and achievement and stop the anger merchants from clouding every issue for their own financial gain.

America has to let go of its anger and seek leaders that understand the generosity of spirit that has been the hallmark of America despite forces to the contrary throughout the years and more importantly you have to let go of your personal anger and direct your attention to helping others everyday you live and breathe on this shared universe we live. Then the light will dawn and that new day spoken of in so many prayers will begin to shine.

We are the COFFEE PARTY.  That’s right we love America too and have decided to band together for our rights as coffee drinkers, aficionados, and people who want to start saying yes to America and no to anarchy.

Our platform of course includes daily trips to Starbucks, et al.  It can be your local coffee shop but we will not we repeat will not be denied our coffee.  Call us the antithesis of the Tea Party.  We are hearty coffee drinking men and women as opposed to well think about it, a tea party?  Really?  Images of cucumber sandwiches holding fancy cups with weird pinkies poised for who knows what.  Anyway you get the picture.  We want none of that.  We never knew we needed our own party but with the mess that’s going on in Washington it’s time someone threw some humor on the situation and in return bring Washington and the country back to its senses.

We are liberal socially and conservative fiscally.  Basically this means sure have your coffee but in moderation.  We say yes to just about anything that promotes America including clean energy, jobs, health care, social security and education.

What we stand for is the promotion of individual ingenuity paired with the team effort of working together for the greater good.  In short we are here to help each other and believe that no step is too far to take in this direction.  We are of the opinion that yes we are our brothers keeper especially if he is in need and we have the wherewithal to offer that help.

We believe in government by the people for the people meaning we can work together for the common good.  This includes middle class, poor, corporations and the very wealthy.  We know we can make all of this work together if we all share this purpose of working together for the common good.    We think that politicians have to be accountable to the people they represent and that their (the people’s) overriding interests far outweigh the special interests regardless of lobbies and large sums of cash..

We say that if there is government then it must do its job.  Less government leads inevitably to anarchy possibly monarchy and most certainty to a lot of malarkey thrown in along the way.

We are the people you see everyday holding our coffee cups, mugs, glasses, lattes, Frappuccino’s filled with our favorite brew attached to us like we were born with it in our hands.  Never we repeat, never mess with us when we are getting down with our coffee.  It is the central plank of our platform and will not be denied.

The COFFEE PARTY has been founded with but one purpose and that is to unify like-minded individuals into a coherent speaking voice that will take advantage of the one thing that Americans can be most proud of and that is our love and sharing of our good for those who are less fortunate.  This isn’t an act of charity but rather one of saying, ‘there but for the grace of God go I.”

As COFFEE PARTY members we are saying that we are living up to the grand traditions of our founding fathers that recognized that this country was born in unity and cannot thrive amidst division.

While we all have different tastes; some like a skinny latte with or without foam or others dark roast or light roast while still others drink it cold or with an intense shot of espresso but none of these differences matter.  The main ingredient is coffee.  It is our common interest no matter what way we take it.

America shares one common interest as well a dream that has stood the test of time and is admired throughout the world and that is our taste for freedom and fairness. Therefore we cannot let our voices be drowned out by anger, irrational bursts, finger-pointing, calls to stop the government, or theories that the earth is round or the sun is not really yellow.

We suspect that there are so many of us in this country that given the catalyst to rally around we can become a force much more conducive to the greater good for all Americans and show that through humor in pointing out the Emperior’s nakedness we can restore sanity to our nation, our government and then go on and live the lives that our parents dreamed we could have.

All of this comes at a price and that price is a commitment to helping each other.  That’s as simple as it gets.  Nobody gets handouts but no one goes hungry or sick or even sad for that matter.  No it isn’t a perfect world we seek that is in heaven’s hands.  It is a focus on sharing our good throughout this land and having everyone get into the act.  We will even welcome tea drinkers since we do not object to the tea per se but to the idea of the Tea Party which says no to America, no to those in need and no to helping each other.  That is just wrongs whatever side of the street or railroad tracks you were born on.

This is America where our lives are only limited by our dreams.   Let us help each other to fulfill those dreams but bringing back that spirit of sharing and of ‘can do.’

It seems like you are giving in and giving too much while waiting for the intransigent to come around.  They won’t.  You cannot give up on someone who is beating up on you all the time.  You have to call them on everything.  The Tea Party – question their patriotism for wanting to bring you and your administration down.  This is so basic.  Your weakness emboldens them even if you think you are right you are enabling them to walk all over you and letting them destroy America.

Please do the right thing for us.  We need you.  Who else can be our advocate?  Who else can fight the forces of chaos that seek only their own insanity.  Please President Obama America needs you now.

Thoughts are congruent within themselves offering points of connection much like the gears of giant automated factory pressing out thousands of objects each day. In the same way you press or engrave thousands of images each day and yet how focused are those images? Are they a part of your own central plan for fulfillment or simply a part of your passing through without touching the mold letting yourself be shaped by outside influences? Direct your attention then to shape the mold.

The accumulation of abundance has to be filled with the certainty of abundance allowing this certainty to follow the pattern of all things that come to be through you. As with anything that you have ever focused upon the natural thing is to go deeper into this making it happen then on all fronts.

It is the harmony of the One of Being that allows your thoughts to take place in the order in which they have been sent. This order is determined by your particular intention. Case in point: You begin to think about something and find yourself becoming immersed in that something. At first you are probing the unknown but then gradually as things become known you are able to reach a higher plateau.

Advance along the plain of this plateau by putting aside all other distractions that may arise. These distractions are necessary due to the sensitive nature of mind but this does not mean you have to listen and follow through on each as it comes through. Think of this as a radio station that you tune into recognizing all the channels that are broadcasting but remaining tuned to just a single channel. It is this single channel of which your thoughts begin to emanate from and continuously grow stronger so that what you are bringing in now is manifesting itself it higher measures of quality the further along you travel.

The truth is you have to be wise to be aware. The wisdom takes place due to your recognition of the events that go on in your life and then being able to pinpoint their significance vis a vis the thoughts you were or are thinking. By this time you realize that some effects are immediate and others long term.

You have to be able to move forward in the flowing of your purpose. This is akin to making the road ahead of you as you are walking. The phrase, ‘when the student is ready the teacher will appear’ comes to mind. Thoughts live in multiple dimensions. They are both a part of time and a part of space as well. Your touching of these varying dimensions result in the understandings that take place. This touching is really all about your higher connection, which means your connection to the Unity that absolutely ties all things together.

Strangely enough it your sense of inner touch that places you into contact with this unity on a continuous basis so that you may feel its flow and become a perfect vehicle for its expression. Listening for all things become the One Thing there in the moment as it flows through you.

You do not need to look for this place of being. It is there residing within you expressing itself through you. What can you accept about yourself? It is that much that you will experience. Wherever your attention is that is where you are expressing yourself into being.

Kabbalah seeks to uncover and make available the observer within Consciousness. It does this by providing a map via the Sephiros, and the underlying structure of the concepts, which it discusses. Torah is the template for all such discoveries operating as channel through which many doorways may be found into this inner world of awakening. Our journeys of discovery may be compared to an amusement park.

Imagine an amusement park with a myriad of rides all enticing all fun but there is one ride that surpasses them all. It is the reason why you come to this amusement park. This ride contains thrills, chills and excitement beyond compare and when you are finished this ride you dream about the next time you will take it again.

Compare this to finding the One Voice and experiencing all that it has to offer and then you realize that life spend anywhere else is simply passing the time waiting for that experience of Unity that results when you are listening deeply to the One of Being. Therefore the most important aspect that Consciousness offers is the direction to which it is taking you. When you are caught up in the flow of that direction it is as if you were being carried along following and agreeing within to the journey especially and the destination in particular.

The life of Consciousness is in its flowing which is continuous and everlasting; drop in any time you will be welcomed… It is in this movement of thought that we can begin to recognize certain properties such as the jumping of points that are where our thoughts take shape in order to provide the feedback loop that strengthens our inner awareness of our connection. When you come to witness Consciousness from the standpoint of the observer in action then you learn its dance and move in concert with the harmony of its flowing.

The Tree of Life Consciousness that is promoted by Torah and all subsequent commentaries all point to this rising up within so that we are actively awakened to our place in the continuum seeking and finding unity with the Creator and opening the inner doors to more fully participate in this creative journey within and without.

In order to insure your active participation you must be given both brush and canvas as a means of expressing that, which comes through you. The brush in this case is your intention and the canvas is the world upon which the causes placed into actions by this metaphorical brush then form themselves into the expressions we see upon the canvas called life. Kabbalah hones Intention through the usage of replacement symbolism to organize and strengthen the will which is the agency that is our higher connection with the source of all things. In Kabbalah it is Malchus that is the canvas that takes the colors of our impressions and gives meanings to them. Here is here it works going through the Ten Sephiros now using this analogy of brush and canvas.

Keep in mind that as we go through these Sephiros we are speaking about Consciousness in its various aspects and that on the most basic level Consciousness is defining as what we both thinking in the moment and what we will be thinking in the moments to come. And so we begin with Keter, the crown of the Tree of Life.

Keter is the highest of the Sephiros directly connected to source. In our terms here it is how you hold the brush that allows your freedom to create in any way you choose. When you hold the brush in a certain way you are able to then translate what comes from above into what you are planning to place upon the canvas. Therefore the first operation of Keter to make a sketch of the image that source is sending through to you. This sketch is called Chokmah or Wisdom.

Chokmah takes the image and engraves it upon the canvas sans color simply outlining it making the right determinations for what is to come using broad strokes but also setting up the spaces where the details will naturally flow into being. This is the first step in the transference of the image from above to below. Now within those spaces set up by Chokmah we find the details coming into play. These details are Binah located directly across from Chokmah on the Tree of Life.

Within Binah there begins the work up of every detail conceived of thus far and the reflection of the engraving that began in Chokmah. An idea may only be seen in terms of its reflections. Here these reflections are becoming self aware in that their purpose is clear and their direction inevitable. The energy of Binah is all encompassing in that it retains the engravings of Chokmah while at the same time transforming then making them ready for their active phase of being symbolized by Chesed the first of the six midot called Zeir Anpin (Chesed, Gevurah, Tipheres, Netzach, Hod and Yesod).

Chesed represents the transformation of emotion that has come through Binah. The thoughts are grooved now and have become interrelated in such a way as to produce the quality of Mercy or Kindness. This is the unrestricted flow of thought allowed to seek its own level. Thought knowing itself now recognizes its own abundance and seeks to share this abundance unremittingly. The natural check to this abundance comes about through the energy center called Gevurah which acts to restrict the abundance to the specific engravings that have come through Binah.

Gevurah called Strength or Judgment then is the counter to Chesed all the while keeping the thoughts focused on the objective sent from above. Gevurah may be likened to a road through a mountain where only certain vehicles may pass through. It does not restrict passage completely but only allows through that which fits in the context of the overall reflected picture emanating ultimately from Keter.

The mind takes on the appearance of the thoughtful approach of unity through its piecing together of the various disparate pictures that are presented throughout each moment. Thoughts flow together much like molecules of water. Individual thoughts make up the overall stream while the broad picture that presents itself is full of substance and complexity. What we have then are the different ways in which mind interacts within itself. Once you become aware of these processes you will begin to recognize the flavor of in accordance with the movements that taking place.

Chesed and Gevurah represent the operations of expansion and contraction. Were either process to overwhelm the other the system would be inefficient causing chaos however what happens is something else entirely. The energy of Chesed is placed on top Gevurah much like a carrier wave occurs in electronics. After all Gevurah acts to restrict and would not come into play were it not for the expansiveness of Chesed. These seemingly opposite flows are then harmonized by the awakening of the next step in the Sephiros that are awakened being Tipheres.

Tipheres represents a unique place in the unity. It represents stasis. The expansiveness of Chesed and the restriction of Gevurah have been transformed into the expression filled energy that raises and reaffirms the divine purpose prior to sending it on its way through to Netzach and Hod.

Be mindful that every step along the way involves a specific type of transformation. These transformations are indicative of the name of the particular Sephiros we are discussing. Now because Tipheres is one of the central Sephiros (the others being Keter, Daas, Yesod, and Malchus) its transformations are not simply right to left or up or down but are also radiated in a diagonal and a somewhat spherical fashion. This is because the energy here is gathering much as a battery will recharge itself while simultaneously giving off its charge. This gives Tipheres and those other central Sephiros some rather unique properties.

Unique to Tipheres is its association with the divine name YKVK. In Torah this name first appears here …

Genesis 2: 4 These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.

The Name appears at first in conjunction with Elokim and is translated as Lord being presented as Hashem-Elokim. In this case the composite name does not represent two separate deities but rather shows for the first time the dual aspects of Hashem working through Elokim. In the context of our study with Tipheres then it is Chesed and Gevurah that are joined together to work through this central Sephirah. What we are speaking about here is the essential relationship that Consciousness has within itself and this is demonstrated perfectly in Tipheres

Have you ever thought about two things or more at once? For example you praying and mundane thoughts appear or perhaps you are working at something and your stream of Consciousness is reflecting upon something else. Both of these examples illustrate the complexity of thought as it makes those internal associations needed for meanings to arise. In Tipheres the ‘meaning’ of Chesed and Gevurah is made clear so that in passing through the energy either below or on the return trip back to Chesed and Gevurah a clear energy composition is transformed by the actions of Tipheres. What happens is a kind of extension that provides both the substance for passing through and the channels through which this substance flows.

Just as an electrical current maintains a uniform rate of flow through various resistors and amplifiers so too does Tipheres act in the same way to regulate the flow of thoughts that make up those connections between above and below. Tipheres is placed in exactly the right aspect in order to harmonize these thoughts to achieve their perfect aim, which is to do the will of their Creator.

When you think about Tipheres think about the holy connection that must take place each moment simply because this is the way things are supposed to work. This connection is the spiritualization of thought orienting thought towards it holy direction as the flowing of Intention continue on its way to demonstration in Malchus. Up to this point the energy has been the ebb and flow of ideas testing themselves by the tension that is set up between Gevurah and Chesed and then suddenly becoming resolved through Tipheres. The resolution of this energy then becomes the resolute focus that is found next in Netzach.

In Netzach begins the work of the grounding of Intention.

Isaiah 30:8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever.

Up until this point the projection of Intention has filled the Intellectual spectrum to point where the harmony of Tipheres now reigns and shines its example for the sharing of or explanation that must follow. Once a thought is written it takes on its initial form by becoming inscribed within the boundaries of the letters it encompasses. It is this inscribing that is both proof of the conception that began in Keter and the ongoing progression of thought that finds itself in form beginning with Netzach.

Netzach gives the sense of eternal life meaning that what we think about lasts forever and shows itself to us in the forms that our imagination is taking the shape. Every time you make a note of your thought having found a form this is an example of Netzach. It is the victory of the soul over the short term consequences that would overshadow that greater picture in which Hashem is continuously revealed.

Consider the example of Netzach being likened to a batter who plays his every plate appearance prior to the game. Balls and strikes, hits and outs and once in a lifetime hits are contemplated. The point at which the batter is finally up to the plate represents the moment of Netzach where the fruition of his pregame meditations will now be played out. The moment the bat hits the ball is the moment of Netzach where fruition meets contemplation and thought meets form.

Thoughts reach a point of folding in amongst themselves much like what happens to the dimensions that we contemplate within string theory. It is this folding in upon themselves that produces the transformations that are seen in their various perspectives as thoughts, forms or somewhere in between.

There in that instantaneous part of being that is the interface between contemplation and action we find Netzach already undertaking the thought forms that are driving its impetus forward. It is the sense of the eternal in terms of continuously bringing forth all that is that fills Netzach with its essence of confidently coming to be.

Netzach can be said to be brimming forth with confidence and this is analogous to exactly how Chesed directly above Netzach on the Tree of Life also transmits its energy. It is this overflow that is channeled into the next Sephirah, Hod.

Hod fills itself then with the brightness or splendor of the overflow of Netzach, which really turns out to be a kind of celebration of the flowing of the Tree of Life Consciousness. Hod then is the establishment of this Consciousness in physical form just prior its being generated or reproduced with Yesod next in line on the Tree of Life. Hod then is the proof of the eternity of Netzach just as Endurance is the proof of Victory.

Each Sephirah becomes the proof of the other. This follows the divine paradigm set out when Elokim made man as the proof of the image of Creation. You cannot know a thing until you become aware of it and understand deeply its inner workings. An idea however brilliant, must be proven time and again in order achieve the purpose of Endurance or Splendor that is found in Hod.

This study of the Sephiros is a study in the relationships that Consciousness has within itself. It is how we are able to navigate within Consciousness without becoming subsumed by the flood of thoughts and information that impinges upon our being constantly. Kabbalah gives us the methods by which we may choose to focus upon those inner workings of thought that will define where are in any given moment. These definitions then in term become the jumping off points for further discovery. What happens is that by going through the process of discovery of defining and refining these ideas we are in effect refining and defining our own Consciousness improving its operation and spiritualizing its outlook.

At just this point where we find ourselves within Hod the glow of awareness becomes such that the reflective nature of Consciousness is once again invoked producing the Sephirah of Yesod the mirror that will bring forth the spiritualized form of Malchus. It is this mirror which is after all representative of the template of Creation as evidenced in the image making that takes place both in Torah in terms of man being the image of the Eternal One and in the making of the sacred laws that are inscribed in fire by Hashem in the first set of tablets and then chiseled by Moshe at Hashem’s direction. We also find the engraving of the image in the Sepher Yetzirah demonstrating this most important facet of being that is constantly becoming. Now in Hod there is the piercing transmission of Intention through to Yesod, which then generates the substance that appears in Malchus.

Before we proceed to study Yesod, a note about the way in which the central, right and left columns work in this Tree of Life Diagram. The Sephiros of the central column, Keter, the invisible yet ever present Daas, Tipheres, Yesod and Malchus all act as collecting stations along the way. The energy that reaches them contains a world of opposites that must be resolved. All of these Sephiros in the center act spontaneously to pass along the Divine Will.

In the case of Keter it is the highest of the Sephiros receiving from above the totality of expression bursting with potential. In order to proceed with flowing through the rest of the Tree of Life this energy must be harmonized by taking on new meaning while still retaining all of the initial impetus that has started this Intention along its way; specifically as a thought comes into being it flashes with brilliance that awakens the sphere of Keter which then projects that thought through to the place of resident meaning there in Chokmah.

Daas the Sephiros of Knowledge must harmonize the inner realms of Chokmah and Binah opening up entire passageway through to Malchus by recognizing the end in the beginning. Daas turns out to be the verification of thought. It collects the ‘will to be’ passing it along eternally through to the certainty of being well before the sequence of outer Sephiros are engaged.

Tipheres collects the pair of opposites found in Chesed and Gevurah as explained about the overflowing and restriction that must take place for the energy of Intention to become harmonized as it flows into becoming.

Finally then it is the collection of the realized Intention that flows through Netzach and Hod just prior to entering form that there is this passing through to Yesod, the collector of forms just prior to the appearance of forms.

Thoughts are arranged in harmony prior to their actions becoming the image of the original Intention realized as a deepening overflowing of the Divine Will at the moment Keter the crown is engaged. In this way the relationships between the various Sephiros while being distinct in their own descriptions are all really a part of the same operations of the One thing. This corresponds the concept of the folding of reality that takes place through the intersection of the multi dimensional awareness that Kabbalah seeks to uncover, teach and demonstrate.

Now the actions of the left side of the Tree of Life are piercing in that their flow is regulated like a laser to produce the exact measure of projection. Binah takes the overflow of scintillating thought in Chokmah and refines it and gives it direction. Gevurah as explained takes the overflowing of mercy and restricts it into the strength of keeping to the original Intention. In turn Hod takes the unbounding energy of victorious overflow and teaches it the colors of splendor that give it the shape and substance to make it ready for Yesod.

In this way we learn that the left column shapes while the right column builds up to overflowing causing the momentum that is life in its reflection of Creation. The way in which something comes into being is just as important as the actual being is in its representation. It is the quality of holiness that ultimately we wish to promote all throughout Creation and it is in this promotion forward that Yesod plays an integral part.

Yesod is the structured chambered pathway that evolves the level of Malchus as a final check of the Divine Will that has been shaped by all the previous Sephiros. Yesod it could be said is the proving ground prior to the demonstration of Malchus. It is the final mold of realization and the certainty of becoming that will be the deciding factor in bringing the initial thought form into its physical embodiment.

Up to this point of Yesod the image has existed as an ever increasingly theoretical construct being added to as these constructs expanded and took on their own reflective aspects. What makes Yesod unique is that it represents the highest aspect of reflection, which is the point of being where the object becomes objectified.

Yesod then becomes where the active force becomes the force of action transmitting all the way through to Malchus, which is the demonstration of the action. There is a dual purpose to this active-action paradigm. Since the Sephiros may be considered as flowing down from Keter or rising up from Malchus this two fold nature is no where more apparent than in Yesod

On the one hand Yesod is the vehicle through which the seed is germinated that is on the downward consideration of the Tree of Life. Rising up from Malchus however, Yesod then takes on the reflected image acting to produce yet another seed of fulfillment that reaches all the way through the pathways above through to Keter. By studying this twofold nature here of Yesod we are able to perceive beneath the veil of Consciousness itself.

Using our analogy of what happens when the bat meets the ball a feedback loop is created causing adjustments so that we learn now about what it feels like and how we need to present ourselves in order to repeat the same experience time and again. We learn about a level swing and timing and put all of this together inside of a unity of being that is repeatable across a wide range of behaviors.

The same experience is always present whenever we learn something new. The reflected image is shown to us and we suddenly have the power or facility to make this image happen again and again. In this way through Yesod and the active force there we come to realize something ultimately revelatory. Knowledge comes from above while learning takes place through the Sephiros and their various aspects and finally mastery occurs right there in Yesod where the ability to reproduce the entire chain of causation and back again is now within our realm of accomplishment.

It could be said then that the purpose of Consciousness and indeed all that we may conceive of as Creation is simply the unity of thought and action taking place simultaneously to promote the Divine Will in expressing itself however that may be.

The key though is here in Yesod where the expression of that Divine Will becomes the perfect mirror of manifestation solely for the purpose of reminding us that nothing takes place in Creation unless it takes place through us. What this means is that recognition requires the observer to pay attention and acknowledge the source at all times. Then and only then is there a unity of being that manifests itself in the created image that appears. B”H

This created image is then manifested through Malchus the central Sephirah at the bottom of the Tree of Life. Consciousness is refined in this way from above to below. All along there is the thought Malchus in the making so that when it comes time to become that which was being thought of it turns out to be the most natural thing in the world. All of this happens as a matter of certainty as one thing becomes another via transformation.

Malchus derives its center directly from the reflected image perfected through Yesod and mirrors that image back to Keter in a single amazing feedback loop of fulfillment. The pathways of Consciousness are multi-layered containing pieces of each other that intertwine like a vine on a tree. Relationships are cast and then recast always with the uppermost Intention in mind for connection with the Creator.

Malchus is considered to be holy Sephirah since it is at the level of greatest refinement as mentioned above. This refinement is primarily in the awareness of the Creator in all things. In a sense Malchus is the end contained in the beginning and as such is the reflection of that beginning. Consciousness, our thoughts mirror each other producing the effects that we experience. Each thought contains within itself the revelation of the initial thought that produced it in the first place.

Within Malchus are contained each of the previous Sephiros just a Consciousness contains all the thoughts that produce the next flow of observance or new thought related to the prior becoming. The overriding factor in Consciousness as well as amongst the Sephiros is the presence of Hashem the ultimate in transformative influence. As a being caught up in between what comes to be and then what has been sent into being we have but one task to fulfill; that is to be cognizant of the Creator in all things.

Psalms 74:12 Yet God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

The transformations that occur always take place in the midst of Malchus changing one state of being into another instantaneously. While Malchus is associated with the earth in that it is the end result of the series of transformations beginning with Keter, it is also associated with the moon. This two-fold nature gives us some insight into how our Consciousness operates. The pattern of awareness that takes place is as follows:

We go through our thinking process meditating on whatever and finally reach a realization about this subject. The realization of our meditation then serves as a stepping-stone for the next part of this realization, which is its transformation into something else. Therefore we have the realization, the earthing of the idea and its transformation into something else, i.e. the moon in its phases presenting various levels of luminosity.

Such is nature of Consciousness that it can be both here and now and then becoming all that is while at the same time evolving into its antecedent. B”H.

There are always changes taking place.  These changes are especially noticeable the more you are thinking about and subsequently experiencing your good.  For some this can be a confusing period as the very fabric of your existence appears to be taken apart and then put back together again.  Go the distance with these changes.  This is the part of your good, which watches over you along the way.  It rides with you to ease the bumps in the road.  When you are on the verge of the most incredible good you’ve ever encountered it will seem as though worlds are sundered.  Such is the power of your good as it comes down the road like the father who goes to meet the prodigal son.  The symbolism is exactly the same.  You speak your good and it comes to meet you halfway shortening the distance between your thought of good and the good you can taste and touch.

165) Imagine the totality of your good. Here is how. Look out at the world around you but first superimpose your good as in a thought you would like to see appear before you in form. See every form in every way but see this form reflecting this totality of your good. Every molecule in the world around now will have the glimmerings of your good. In no time at all you will see your good before you because there is nowhere in this world that you haven’t looked to see your good in all of its radiations of glory. Gradually in this practice of superimposing your good upon the world you will match up your vision with the reality of your seeing. Then the most amazing thing will happen to you. You will realize that you and your good are one. There cannot be any separation because of this unity between your good and your perception of your good. You see, this is what we’ve been trying to do all along.

162) There is a story told about the wisest man in the world.  Every answer he knew in the blink of an eye.  People would come from miles around just to hear him pronounce his words.  After a week of listening and giving forth the wisdom of the ages he disappeared.  Many years later in a marketplace in a rural town somewhere in the world he was seen again.  Someone who had known him as a child remembered him and marveled that he should be selling fake designer watches at ten percent of the real watches price.  When asked why this should be he answered:

“Years ago I had every answer but no one knew what questions to ask.  The questions were always about who shall live and who shall die, or how can I make the most money here or there.  These were easy questions.  I told them to paint a picture of what they wanted and to hang it up inside of their heads and then to change the frame daily.  In time they would see the money or whatever they wanted come to them.  Everyone was astonished but no one listened.  Nothing changed.  I however was constantly changing which was good because a man should always follow his own path.  Right now on this path I am selling these watches.  Enlightenment I gave away for nothing.  These watches I can make you a deal on.  What will it be the Rolex or the Timex?”

Your good cannot remain unnoticed.  Seek it, find it and use it.  That’s the lesson here.  Oh stay away from those knock off watches.  They always break down sooner or later.

163) Perhaps you’ve heard of pyramid power, or the power of crystals, or holy water, or even the power of faith, hope and love.  All of these work because of one greatest power.  That is the power of good.  Good is creation taking its place in your mind through the energy of your thinking.   Like the magnifying lens focuses light into a burning beam, so too the lucid awareness of your thinking, hones your thoughts into your images of good.  Cease to wonder what, when where or why.  It simply works.  This is enough to be certain that in every moment you have the opportunity to experience your good.

160) There have been times when you’ve placed things before you as a test as to the mastery of this subject or that.  All of these subjects were symbols for what you were really doing.  What you are really doing is finding your good and then naming it by the application of the knowledge you’ve learned in a specific area.  The way to the center of your good is by starting at the center and continuing in a straight line towards that center.  A paradox you say?  No this is how all beginnings come forth.  There is the self-existent moment that is your good.  Accept this and move on.

161) Thoughts move sometimes in circles and go out of bounds.  Confusion gives way to doubt if left too long untended.  You are the master of your good.  Take care of your good and see that you return to your good more than once a day in passing.  Pay attention to your thoughts for they form the guiding light shining on your good.  Transparent is the way to look through the minds eyes.  In this way you are at the heart of this something while you still have the presence of mind to appreciate it.   This is more than about moving on.  It is about finding yourself and keeping yourself by defining yourself in the moment.
